The registration deadline for the 2021-22 Girls Code Club has been extended to Friday, Oct. 8. Girls ages 8 to 13 will participate in monthly meetups with peers as they learn computer science and coding concepts. Beginners and more experienced coders are all welcome. There is a registration fee.
A Taste of Science, a special event for individuals over age 21, will take place on Thursday, Oct. 21, from 6 to 9 p.m. The fundraiser will feature live science trivia, food catered by Frisco's Peruvian Chicken, science-themed beverages, The Science of Beer competition by Lancaster Brewers Club, a silent auction, and more. Tickets are limited.
