The Solanco Historical Society will hold its next program on Saturday, Oct. 16, at 1:30 p.m. at the society's archives building, located across from the Robert Fulton Birthplace at 1932 Robert Fulton Highway (Route 222), Quarryville. Jack Brubaker will present on "10 Lancaster County Anecdotes."
Brubaker, who discussed many tales in his 42 years of writing columns for a local newspaper, will share 10 of his favorites during the program - some sad, some humorous, and some murderous.
The program is free and open to the public, and the society's regular monthly meeting will follow. Masks are recommended for those who are not vaccinated.
