Governor Dick Environmental Center, 3283 Pinch Road, Mount Gretna, will offer fall events. Programs are open to the public, but preregistration is required by contacting 717-964-3808 or governordick@hotmail.com and providing a name and phone number. Attendees should meet at the Environmental Center.
A Tree Hike will step off at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 23. Participants will learn the natural history of trees and tree identification tips from a master arborist. A fee applies.
On Sunday, Oct. 24, the Golden Eagle Hikers will set out at 1:30 p.m. for a 2- to 3-mile hike. The hike is open to individuals age 50 and older.
