On First Friday, Dec. 3, the Arts at Millersville University will host its first Local Artisan Makers' Market from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the lobby of the Ware Center, 42 N. Prince St., Lancaster. Visitors can buy items from an array of emerging and innovative artists, including Brian Crowl, Charlene Randolf, Kayla Gibbons, Keisha Finnie, Louis Logan, Lunga Bechtel, Malcolm Corley and Jan Hamby.
A variety of fine arts and crafts will be available, including handmade pottery, jewelry, batiks, scarves, ornaments, and holiday-themed knick-knacks. Artists will also represent several arts organizations, including Lancaster Creative Factory and Lancaster Designer Craftsmen Chapter of the Pennsylvania Craftsmen's Guild. The event is commission-free, and all proceeds go directly to the artists.
