The Hershey Symphony Orchestra (HSO) will continue an annual holiday tradition with the Holiday Spectacular on Saturday, Dec. 11, at 2 and 8 p.m. at The Hershey Theatre, 15 E. Caracas Ave., Hershey. The orchestra will perform new arrangements of holiday classics and other seasonal favorites.
Selections include music from "The Polar Express," Mannheim Steamrollers' "Stille Nacht," Leroy Anderson's "Christmas Festival Overture," "Sleigh Ride," "Parade of the Wooden Soldiers," a "Channukah Overture," and more. Guests will also be treated to a special appearance by Santa Claus.
Concert attendees are invited to participate in the annual Hershey Symphony holiday food and gift drive by bringing nonperishable food products; new, unwrapped toys; and new children's coats to be distributed to area children and adults in need.
Reserved seat tickets are available for purchase at http://www.hersheysymphony.org. A per-ticket processing fee applies. Advance tickets are highly recommended. Guests are strongly encouraged to wear masks inside The Hershey Theatre during performances.
