Erika Schell of Mount Joy is one of six students at Lebanon Valley College (LVC), Annville, who served as a medical volunteer at the Boston Marathon in October. Schell, a graduate of Donegal High School, is pursuing a Master of Athletic Training degree at LVC.
The students continued a longtime LVC connection that traces back to 2011 when their professor, Dr. Joe Murphy, director and associate professor of athletic training, began volunteering as a medical adviser for the historic race.
