Manheim Township will offer the Fun Day Out of School Program for girls and boys in grades one through six, scheduled on full-day school closings. The program will offer field trips and performances from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Participants will meet at the Overlook Activities Center, 301 Golf Drive, Lancaster. Students must pack a lunch, snacks, and a water bottle.
Scheduled trips include SkyZone on Monday, Jan. 17; Turkey Hill Experience on Friday, Feb. 18; Rocky Springs Bowling on Friday, March 18; Lost Treasure Mini Golf on Friday, April 15; and an animal show on Monday, April 18. Trips and activities are subject to change.
Space is limited. There is a cost to participate, with a discount for Manheim Township residents. Registration will be accepted online at http://www.manheimtownship.org by clicking on "On-Line Recreation Program Registration" or in person at the Recreation & Park Planning Office located in Stauffer Mansion, 1241 Lititz Pike, Lancaster. Participants who register for an activity for which capacity enrollment has been reached will be added to a waiting list.
