Mental Health America of Lancaster County (MHALC) has posted its schedule of peer-led support groups for adults and families. All groups are drop-in, confidential, and free.
An educational bipolar support group meets on the first and third Mondays from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Another bipolar group, focused on discussion, meets on the second, fourth, and fifth Mondays from 7 to 8:30 p.m.; this group is a peer-led support group for adults and families. An anxiety, panic, and OCD support group meets every Thursday from 7 to 8:30 p.m.

Additionally, MHALC recently received a $35,000 grant from the Alcoa Foundation for evidence-informed mental health education in schools. The grant is intended to enhance and broaden the already-existing program in schools. MHALC's goal is to add 10 schools this year to the 15 schools it has been educating for the past 20 years.
