Community Grant Program Opens

The Junior League of Lancaster Inc. (JLL) will accept applications for its 2021-22 Community Grant Program. This program seeks to further JLL's current initiative, increasing educational and career opportunities in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) for girls and other youths who have been historically underrepresented in these fields.

This year, the JLL will make grants of $1,250 to Lancaster County STEM nonprofit organizations for the purpose of hiring McCaskey High School students for paid summer internships with their organizations. The grants will go toward the salary or stipend that the student receives for his or her work.

All applications must be received before Friday, April 1. JLL will award all grants by Saturday, April 30. For application details and documents, visit http://www.jllancaster.org or email grants@jllancaster.org.
