Chester County Parks and Preservation has announced its schedule and opened registration for its holiday-themed and winter programs. Chester County's seven parks and three trails attract nearly 1.5 million visitors annually. Chester County Parks and Preservation park rangers have created unique ways for residents of all ages to enjoy the trails and parks this winter.
Activities will include a holiday luminaria hike, stargazing and disc golf weekends, winter wilderness hikes, educational programs about maple syrup, and a pop-up surprise sledding program. Many of these programs typically fill up quickly. To register for any of the scheduled programs, visit http://www.chesco.org/parkprograms.
Chester County's parks are Black Rock Sanctuary, Hibernia Park, Nottingham Park, Springton Manor Farm, Warwick Park, Wolf's Hollow Park, and Exton Park. Parks are open every day, except Christmas Day, from 8 a.m. to sunset. For more information on the Chester County-owned parks and trails, visit http://www.chesco.org/parks.
