Mechanic Grove Church of the Brethren, 1392 Robert Fulton Highway, Quarryville, will offer a GriefShare program to the public on Saturdays, Jan. 8 to April 2, from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Community members who have experienced the death of a family member or friend are invited to attend.
This nondenominational program features Christ-centered, biblical teaching that focuses on grief topics associated with the death of a loved one. Attendees will view a DVD featuring grief experts and then take part in small group discussion.
There is a cost to attend that covers the cost of a workbook. Registration is required by Sunday, Jan. 2. To register or for details, call 717-786-2723.
