Ongoing programs will include Morning Yoga every Friday at 9 a.m. for adults and teens, with masks required inside the building; Astronomy Enthusiasts of Lancaster County on Wednesday, Jan. 5, at 6 p.m.; Painting Club at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesdays, Jan. 12 and 26; the Great Decisions Discussion Group on Jan. 12 at 6:30 p.m.; Genealogy Club on Wednesday, Jan. 19, at 6:30 p.m.; Newcomers and Neighbors Book Club on Thursday, Jan. 20, at 1 p.m.; and the virtual Literary Travelers Book Club on Friday, Jan. 28, at 10 a.m.
Also, the Knitting Club, for knitters and crocheters, from 10 a.m. to noon on Mondays, Jan. 3 and 17; Lititz Garden Club on Thursday, Jan. 6, at 6:30 p.m.; Jane Austen Society on Tuesday, Jan. 18, at 6:30 p.m.; Buckhill Sleuths Book Club - New Holland Location on Monday, Jan. 24, at 2 p.m.; Lititz Art Association on Tuesday, Jan. 25, at 6 p.m.; and BYOB - Bring Your Own Book (Club) for adults on Thursday, Jan. 27, at 2 p.m.
The Lititz Historical Foundation will present "Lancaster County's Historic Lincoln Highway" on Saturday, Jan. 8, at 1:30 p.m. Registration is required and will begin on Monday, Dec. 27, at 9 a.m. To register, call the library. Masks are required, and this program is limited to 50 persons.
Novel Tea will be held virtually via Zoom on Tuesday, Jan. 11, at 6 p.m. This program will highlight different types of tea featured in books. Registration is required and will begin on Tuesday, Dec. 28.
The library will offer a Movies of the 1950's movie showing on Thursday, Jan. 13, at 1:30 p.m. The film "Harvey," which is not rated, will be shown. Registration will begin on Thursday, Dec. 30.
A Winter StoryWalk will be available every day at the library beginning in January. The self-directed activity encourages people of all ages to read a children's picture book in stages while walking along a short path. The winter installation will feature "Hooray for Today!" by Brian Won.
Reading Royals - Slapshot's Winter Reading Challenge will be held in January. Children ages 5 to 15 will be challenged to read 20 minutes a day for 30 days by Tuesday, Feb. 1. Readers may earn a free kid's ticket to a Reading Royals ice hockey game. Reading challenge forms are available at the library's circulation desk.
Indoor Storytime will take place on Monday, Jan. 31, to Monday, Feb. 24. The library will offer age-specific story times for children ages 6 month to 5 years. The gatherings will feature a small class size and social distancing. Masks are required. Online registration will begin on Jan. 17 at 7 a.m.
