Hershey Area Neighbors and Newcomers Club (HANNC) will meet at the Hershey Public Library, 701 Cocoa Ave., Hershey, at 10:15 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 13.
The guest speaker will be Michael O'Donovan, a former U.S. Army serviceman and police officer who is currently employed as the managing consultant for Risk Mitigation Services. He will present a self-defense program geared for women. Participants are asked to dress in casual attire, such as sweatpants.
HANNC meets on the second Thursday of each month from September to May. Guests are welcome to attend.
