Knights of Columbus Council 6810 will hold a Knights of Columbus Free Throw Championship on Sunday, Jan. 23, from 1 to 5 p.m. The competition will take place at St. Leo the Great School, 2427 Marietta Ave., Lancaster.
All boys and girls ages 9 to 14 are invited to participate by showing proof of age, such as a copy of their birth certificate, and written parental consent. A participant's age category is based on their age as of Jan. 1. Contestants must register at the door by completing a brief entry form.
Winners will receive a certificate and wall plaque or trophy and move on to the district competition and potentially the regional and state competitions. International champions will be named by Knights of Columbus Headquarters based on scores from state-level contests.
