CPR Training Kits Presented To Hospital

The American Heart Association recently donated 60 Infant CPR Anytime training kits to Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health's Women and Babies Hospital. The donation was made possible with support from Orthopedic Associates of Lancaster as part of its sponsorship of the Lancaster Heart Ball. The kits will be given to new parents.

The Infant CPR Anytime kits provide an all-in-one, self-directed learning program with everything needed to complete training anywhere. Skills are taught with the American Heart Association's practice-while-watching technique, which allows learners to practice on a mannequin while observing a demonstration of the skills in the video. Each kit contains both English and Spanish language instructions that cover infant CPR, relief of infant choking, and calling for help.

The American Heart Association trains more than 23 million people globally every year by educating health care providers, caregivers, and the general public on how to respond to cardiac arrest and first aid emergencies. To learn more about CPR training, visit http://www.heart.org/cpr.
