Petra Church will host a Fearless Women event for women only on Friday, March 4, at 7 p.m. in the sanctuary. Light refreshments will be served in the atrium from 6:30 to 7 p.m. Attendees must be age 18 or older.
Dr. James Reeves, pastor and author, will address the needs of women who are survivors of sexual abuse. The program is designed for all women, regardless of whether they have experienced trauma. The focus will be on the provision of information and resources, primarily through a "Fearless Series for Women" video and a question-and-answer time with Reeves.
This event will provide a safe environment for Christian women to start the conversation about the prevalence of abuse in America, and it will offer tools that can help them move beyond the pain of their abuse. There is no cost and no need to register.
