SECA will offer events and activities to the community.
Cash bingo is typically held twice a month at the SECA Center, 299 Park Ave., Quarryville, and the next bingo dates are Fridays, April 8 and 22. Doors will open at 5 p.m., and games will begin at 6 p.m. Snacks and drinks will be available for purchase. For information on delays and cancellations, search for SECA on Facebook.
SECA will offer a bus trip to Delaware Park on Sunday, April 10. The bus will leave the SECA Center at 8:45 a.m. and return between 4 and 5 p.m. There is a fee. Youths ages 11 to 15 may participate in the annual youth flashlight Easter egg hunt at the SECA Center on Friday, April 15, at 8 p.m. There is no fee to participate, but registration is required by contacting SECA at the aforementioned phone number or email address. Those registering should provide the participant's name and age and the parent or guardian's name, a contact phone number and the family's municipality. Youths should bring their own baskets and flashlights for the hunt.
The third annual Kids Fishing Derby will occur on Saturday, April 23, from 8 a.m. to noon at SECA Pond. It is open to children up to age 12. Southern End Outdoors has sponsored this event and will offer prizes to those who catch one of the three largest fish. The event is free, but registration is required by Friday, April 22.
Soccer Shots is back at SECA under new management, offering soccer instruction for children ages 2 to 8. Sessions will begin on Monday, April 4. To register, visit http://lancasterlebanon.soccershots.com.
Riehl Martial Arts will offer classes in Moo Duk Kwan, a Korean art of self-defense, on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the SECA Center from 6:30 to 8 p.m. The classes will be taught by John C. Riehl. More details are available at http://www.secarec.org.
The Southern End Martial Arts Tournament, hosted by Riehl Martial Arts, will be held on Saturday, April 2, at the Hoffman Building of the Solanco Fairgrounds. For more information, contact Riehl at 717-283-6164.
