Friends of the Lititz Public Library will host a book sale on Friday, April 29, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday, April 30, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Buck-a-Bag will begin on April 30 at noon.
The library will host a Tiny Art Show where artists may display their artistic talents. Adults age 18 and older may register to receive a mini art kit and create a masterpiece. When completed, the artwork can be returned to the library to be part of the art show. Online registration begins Friday, April 1. Completed art must be returned to the library by Saturday, April 30, to be displayed in the library during May.
The book launch of "Goodbye Yellow House" by local author Janine Summers Miller will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 2. Miller and illustrator Susan Benigni-Landis will be present for a book reading and signing.
Ongoing programs will include Morning Yoga every Friday at 9 a.m. for adults and teens, with masks required inside the building; Astronomy Enthusiasts of Lancaster County on Wednesday, April 6, at 6 p.m.; Lititz Garden Club on Thursday, April 7, at 6:30 p.m.; Literary Travelers Book Club on Friday, April 15, at 10 a.m. via Zoom; Knitting Club, for knitters and crocheters, from 10 a.m. to noon on Mondays, April 4 and 18; Painting Club at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesdays, April 13 and 27; and the Great Decisions Discussion Group on April 13 at 6:30 p.m.

Movies of the 1950s will show "Rear Window," an Alfred Hitchcock classic on Thursday, April 14, at 1:30 p.m. The movie stars Jimmy Stewart in the story of a recuperating news photographer who believes he has witnessed a murder. Registration will begin on Thursday, March 31.
Lester Hirsch Troubadour Poet Show will visit the library on April 14 at 6:30 p.m. Hirsch will entertain with a mix of music, including sing-alongs.
A concert by Swing Street, a Lancaster-based jazz quartet, will take place on Thursday, April 21, at 6:30 p.m. The quartet features a mix of mainstream jazz standards, some jazz adaptations of popular tunes, and a few adventures into smooth jazz. Online registration will begin on April 7.
A book talk and illustrator demonstration for "Soar" by Hillary Daecher and illustrated by Angie Hohenadel will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 23. Books will be signed at the event.
The Spring StoryWalk for children and families will feature "Being Frog" by April Pulley Sayre and is available daily. The StoryWalk begins to the right of the Lititz Public Library entrance and moves counterclockwise around the library.
Spring Indoor Story Times will be offered from Monday, April 4, through Thursday, June 9. Programs will be available for children from age 6 months to 5 years.
Backyard Story Times will run from Wednesday, April 6, to Thursday, June 9. Story times will be held on Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. and on Thursdays at 10:30 a.m.
