Historic Wrightsville has announced its upcoming activities, including the second annual Spring Food Truck Event. This event will occur on Saturday, April 2, at the Wrightsville Hope Church parking lot at the corner of Fourth and Hellam streets.
A variety of fair foods, as well as funnel cake and french fries, will be available from 11 a.m.to 2 p.m. The Easter Bunny will be present. Although the Easter Bunny will periodically ride around town with his microphone, reminding community members about the event, his base will be at the food truck event, where he will join his friends from the Fog Hollow Petting Zoo for photos. Search for "Historic Wrightsville Incorporated" on Facebook for updates and specifics about the food trucks.
Historic Wrightsville's Civil War Diorama, located at 124 Hellam St., will open its doors to the public on Sunday, April 3, and successive Sundays from 1 to 4 p.m. and by appointment. The diorama features a visual display of the Confederate advance and the burning of the bridge in late June 1863. Guides will present the story leading to the joint decision on the York County and Lancaster County sides to stop Gen. Gordon's troops from advancing to Philadelphia and Harrisburg. For more information, contact the museum at 717-252-1169 or email historicwrightsville1983@gmail.com.

To order, contact the museum at the aforementioned phone number or email address or contact any board member by Thursday, April 7. Pickup and delivery of the food will take place on Thursday, April 14.
