Church Plans Egg Hunt, Easter Services

Wrightsville Assembly of God, Fourth and Orange streets, will hold a community Easter egg hunt on Saturday, April 16, at 11 a.m.

Children from age 1 to sixth grade may hunt for eggs by age group. More than 6,000 candy-filled eggs will be hidden, and 50 Easter baskets and 25 chocolate bunnies will be presented to those who find prize eggs.

Lunch will be provided, with hot dogs, chips, dessert and a drink offered to all guests. The event will also include an inflatable bounce house, two large inflatable slides and face painting.

There is no cost and no need to preregister; families can register children upon arrival at 11 a.m. For more information, email info@wrightsvillechurch.com or call the church office at 717-252-3623.

On Easter Sunday, April 17, the church will hold worship services at 8 a.m., 9:30 a.m., 11 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Each one-hour service will include worship led by an Easter choir and the worship team, as well as an Easter message from pastor Aaron McNatt titled "Back to Life." The Kids Ministry will have its own Easter services. Nursery and preschool classes will also be offered during each service.
