The Quarryville Lions Club will sponsor the annual Memorial Day program at Legion Memorial Park, 297 Park Ave., Quarryville, on Monday, May 30, at 10 a.m. Raef Groves will be the youth speaker, and Rep. Brian Cutler will be the keynote speaker.
Members of the Solanco High School band will provide patriotic music. The event will also include the dedication of a new monument honoring all Solanco area veterans who sacrificed their lives in wars since World War II.
The public is invited to attend. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs.
