The Lancaster Science Factory (LSF), 454 New Holland Ave., Lancaster, will partner with the Lancaster Conservancy to provide events and workshops for Water Week 2022. Water Week will run from Saturday, June 4, through Friday, June 10.
A free Art & Science Open House will take place on Friday, June 3, from 5 to 7 p.m. Visitors can check out the rainfall simulator with the Chesapeake Bay Foundation and make their own giant macroinvertebrate with the PCA&D Center for Creative Exploration. Admission is free, but registration is requested.
As part of special Water Week programming, the LSF will present environmental science workshops for children in kindergarten through grade eight. Workshops will feature 3D Printed Macroinvertebrates, Bugs in the Backyard, and more.
