June 1. Summer Reading Program Event

105 West St., Parkesburg. A park ranger will present a talk on mammals at 2 p.m. Open to children age 5 and under. Children of all ages may also register for the Summer Reading Program, themed "Oceans of Possibilities."

June 8. "A-League of Our Own - Negro Baseball League"

The virtual event is being presented by the Chester County Library System (CCLS) at 6 p.m. The program tells the story of the Negro Baseball League and will highlight some of the influential players. Registration is required for the free event by visiting https://ccls.libcal.com/event/9121773.

June 11. Drive-Through Chicken Barbecue
