LAMS Plans Benefit Auction

Lititz Area Mennonite School (LAMS) will hold its annual benefit auction at the school, 1050 E. Newport Road, Lititz, on Friday, June 3, and Saturday, June 4.

The event will kick off on June 3 with a Down Home Dinner served from 4 to 7 p.m. The dinner will be available to eat in or take out. At 5:45 p.m., an auction for students will be held, and the main auction will begin at 6:15 p.m. At 7:30 p.m., a few themed baskets will be sold, followed by gift certificates at 8 p.m.

On June 4, an all-you-can-eat breakfast will be served from 6 to 9:30 a.m. Throughout the day, food items available for purchase will include baked goods, pork barbecue sandwiches, cheeseburgers, walking tacos, soft-serve ice cream, and more.

Auctions on June 4 will begin at 8:30 a.m. A landscape auction featuring plants and flowers will be held outside under a tent. Inside, the general auction will feature more themed baskets at 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. A men's auction will be held at 11 a.m., and a special features auction, which will include tickets to sporting events, special meals, and trips, will begin at noon. New items going up for bids this year will include Philadelphia Phillies tickets, a mother/daughter floral arranging class, a sign-painting event with Aimee Weaver Designs, a push mower, a night in Harrisburg, and a treehouse adventure weekend.
