Dickinson, Stoe Recognized

Lower Dauphin High School seniors Emma Dickinson and Ryan Stoe were named Students of the Month for April by the Rotary Club of Hummelstown.

Emma is the daughter of Matt and Angela Dickinson. She is president and a four-year member of the Tri-M Music Honor Society; a four-year member of the orchestra, in which she plays the cello; a three-year member of the Envirothon team; and a two-year member of the Garden Club. She joined the National Honor Society in her senior year. Emma is also a four-year member of the girls' tennis team, and she participated in choir for three years. In the community, she is active in Scouting and earned her Eagle Scout Award in December. She plans to major in environmental science at Susquehanna University.

Ryan is the son of Jennifer and Travis Stoe. He is a four-year member of the Mini-THON committee and served as a captain this year. He is a two-year member of the Science National Honor Society and a member of the National Honor Society and Volunteen. He was a member of the orchestra, ski club, boys' soccer team and track and field team. In the community, Ryan has volunteered with the Grantville Food Pantry. He plans to major in nursing at the University of Pittsburgh.
