The piano students of Linda Moccia Rasmuson, a teacher of private and adult group piano lessons, participated in the National Federation of Music Clubs' Piano Festival on March 14. The students - who hail from Hempfield, Manheim Township, and Millersville - were judged on their proficiency in multiple areas of piano performance.
Rasmuson's pupils who participated are Jessica Decker, Everett Roy, Ruth Janisewski, Lily Miller, Niobe Vaca, Camden Beakes, Theo Goss, Evelyn Maryott, Jude Valle, Noah Valle, Dahlia Franklin, Willa Kroll, Jalia Speece, Katie Firoglanis, Kate Schlegel, Brooke MacCombie and Charlotte MacCombie. All of them received outstanding marks from the judges.
In addition, Everett, Jude, and Noah moved forward to compete in the Pennsylvania Federation of Music Clubs' Eastern Region Piano Competition, which was held in Stroudsburg on April 9. Everett and Jude advanced to the state competition in Williamsport on April 30.
