The wedding of Lori Hess and Neal Lefever took place on Dec. 11, 2021, at Refton Brethren in Christ Church in Refton. The Rev. Scott MacFeat officiated at the 3 p.m. ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Charles and Lois Hess of Pequea. She graduated from Penn Manor High School in 2003 and Millersville University in 2007. She is employed by Lancaster County Career & Technology Center in Willow Street.
The groom is the son of Richard and Audrey Lefever of Peach Bottom. He graduated from Solanco High School in 2008 and is employed by P.L. Weaver & Company in New Holland.
The matron of honor was Jacqueline Brenner of Lancaster, and the best man was Aaron Whitley of Avon, Ind. The wedding attendant was Tina Beam, cousin of the bride.
The bride was given in marriage by her parents. She wore a white ball gown with a V neck and various appliques, and she carried a bouquet of red roses, white roses, baby's breath and greens.
Providing music for the ceremony was pianist Jesse Bender. Additionally, the bride and groom played "Joyful, Joyful, We Adore Thee" as a violin duet.
The reception was held at the Family Life Center at Refton Brethren in Christ Church in Refton.
After a wedding trip to Williamsburg, Va., the couple now resides in Pequea.
