Commercial fruit and vegetable growers, market managers, agritourism business operators, and farm managers or owners looking to network are invited to attend the Twilight At-Market Workshop at Weaver's Orchard, 40 Fruit Lane, Morgantown, on Tuesday, July 19. This workshop will run from 6 to 8 p.m.
The focus of the workshop is business success factors. During a farm tour with Anita Harrison, market manager, and owner Ed Weaver, participants will discuss several business aspects of the orchard and farm market, including pricing products for profit in turbulent times, staffing challenges, and creating dazzling market displays. Attendees will also learn from owners and staff about Weaver's Orchard's history from its humble beginnings to its current status.
