Restaurant Week will take place from Friday, Feb. 19, through Sunday, Feb. 28, featuring more than 35 York city eateries. Delivery and takeout will be integral to this year's event, along with dine-in options as allowed by state mandates.
Normally, the event's goal is to position York as one of the top culinary destinations in southcentral Pennsylvania by increasing awareness of the many dining opportunities available. This year, the event will aim to show the community what these restaurants can do when times are tough.
The York City Independent Restaurant Association and its sponsors worked to eliminate barriers to participate and were able to offer free registration to the eateries.
Menus and the list of participating restaurants will be posted at http://www.rwyork.com. For more information, readers may contact Kate Harmon from Working Progress at 804-869-9945 or kate@letsmakeprogress.today.
