The Lancaster County 4-H program will hold the 34th annual Lancaster County 4-H Benefit Auction on Saturday, Feb. 15, at 9 a.m. at the Farm and Home Center, 1383 Arcadia Road, Lancaster.
Specialty items to be sold include a handcrafted tack box, a Quaker-style chicken coop, and certificates to the Fulton Theatre, Morr Range, Cherry Crest Adventure Farm, Rhoadstar Tire Center, and other businesses. The volunteer auctioneers will be Charles Hess and representatives of All American Auction Company.
This year, the event will again offer a silent auction during the live auction. Silent auction items will include pizza gift certificates, certificates for car washes, and fast food restaurant coupons. Additional items to be up for bids include animal feed and supplies, household items, craft items, baked goods, tools, produce, and cookbooks. Local 4-H clubs have donated theme baskets for sale, and themes include "Game Night," "Pizza Night," and "Chocolate Lovers." Numerous other items and gift certificates for local services and merchandise will be offered.
Food items will be sold throughout the day by Ephrata-Cocalico 4-H Community Club members.
