The 19th annual York County 50plus Expo will be held on Thursday, Sept. 23, in Memorial Hall East at the York Expo Center, 334 Carlisle Ave., York, with the Lancaster County 50plus Expo set for Wednesday, Sept. 29, at Spooky Nook Sports, 2913 Spooky Nook Road, Manheim. The free, one-day events will take place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The 50plus Expo will include exhibitors covering all facets of life for the over-50 population, including housing, medical services, nutrition, leisure, home improvements, finances and more.
The entertainment and seminar lineup for the York County 50plus Expo has also been announced.
Award-winning Elvis Presley tribute artist Jeff Krick will bring the sights, sounds, and stage presence of "The King" to the Expo stage at 9:45 a.m.
At 10:30 a.m., "Medicare 101" will be presented by Tara Pew with Capital BlueCross, who will teach Medicare's basics, the differences between plans, when to apply and how to avoid late-enrollment penalties.
"Estate Planning" by Tammy Ely with Bellomo & Associates will begin at 11:15 a.m. Attendees will learn to identify methods to care for themselves and others in their estate planning.
"Ready, Set, Move" will be presented at noon by Paula Musselman and Todd Krahling of Homesale Mortgage - Berkshire Hathaway Homesale Services. They will discuss the ins and outs of the moving process as well as loans available for home renovations.
In addition, Hillcrest Pharmacy & Compounding will provide flu shots.
