Creative Works of Lancaster will hold special performances of three site-specific plays called Play Grounds: Theater on Site. This is the seventh time the project has been a Featured Stop during Lancaster ArtWalk in Lancaster city. Performances will be on Saturday, May 4, and Sunday, May 5, at noon and 2 p.m.
The plays have been written specifically for their respective performance locations and feature area theater artists. Each performance of the set of plays will begin at Zoetropolis, 112 N. Water St., Lancaster, and the audience will led by a traveling musician to the subsequent sites.
"The Guy With a Thousand Faces," written by Caleb Corkery, will be directed by Nelly Torres. Actors will be Dana Kinsey, Justin McHugh, Rich Mehrenberg and John Rohrkemper.
"The Long Awaited Acceptance Speech of Megan Brubaker," written by Bruce Walsh, will be directed by Matthew Good. Actors will be Kathy Robb, Tim Riggs and Wendee Lewis.
"Golden Arches," to be performed at a McDonald's, was written by Adam Kissinger and will be directed by Seth Duncan. Actors are yet to be announced.
