The Lancaster Symphony Orchestra (LSO) has decided to cancel the remainder of its 2019-20 season. The staff and board of directors are evaluating their options. The LSO plans to begin the 2020-21 season in November and will release more details in the coming weeks.
Ticketholders are asked to consider donating their May tickets back to the LSO for a tax credit. They may also exchange tickets for a credit to a future performance. Exchanges and refund requests must be made in writing or sent by email no later than Sunday, May 31.
In the meantime, LSO plans to release a series of videos each week titled "Musicians at Home." The first video went live on Facebook on May 14. To view the videos, readers may visit http://www.facebook.com/LancasterSymphonyOrchestra.
