LSO Names Executive Director

The Lancaster Symphony Orchestra (LSO) board of directors has named Guy McIntosh as its new executive director. For the last six months, McIntosh has served as general manager of the LSO, overseeing daily operations and working with the board of directors, staff, and musicians to sustain the organization to this point.

McIntosh brings five years of arts administration experience, having worked as director of marketing and personnel manager for several performing arts organizations throughout the mid-Atlantic region. A graduate of the Royal Academy of Music in London, McIntosh also enjoys a performing career as a professional musician and has been a member of the LSO trumpet section since 2010.

The LSO also recently named four new members to its board of directors. They are Brent Edmondson, Sara Male, Michael Slechta, and Bob Thomas.
