Hershey Area Playhouse has announced the next Give Back to Broadway workshop, which pairs the Playhouse with professionals who are currently displaced by the closing of Broadway.
On Monday, Nov. 16, at 7 p.m., international stage actors - and Hershey residents when they are not on tour - Jane Brockman Shew and Tim Shew will share career highlights, tips for developing actors, and more. Tim has starred in "Les Miserables," and Jane has starred in "Wicked." Together they performed in the most recent tour of "Hello, Dolly!"
Proceeds from tickets to participate in the live workshop will benefit the actors and the Playhouse. For those who cannot attend the live event, it will be available to stream during November and December.
Previously, the Playhouse welcomed "Hamilton" costume designer Jennifer Raskopf. The recorded session with Raskopf is still available at http://www.hersheyareaplayhouse.com/2020-season.
To register for the Give Back to Broadway workshop, readers may visit the aforementioned website. All ticket holders will be sent a link to the online meeting. For security reasons, they must sign in to the meeting with the name under which they purchased the tickets.
