SALT Performing Arts To Stage "Annie The Musical"

SALT Performing Arts is bringing live theater back with "Annie the Musical," which will be performed in person at the SALT theater, located in the West Pikeland Township Building, 1645 Art School Road, Chester Springs. The show will also be livestreamed. Performances will be held on Fridays, April 30, May 7 and May 14, at 7 p.m.; on Saturdays, May 1, 8 and 15, at 2 and 7 p.m.; and on Sundays, May 2, 9 and 16, at 2 p.m.

Based on the comic strip by Harold Gray, the musical follows Annie on her journey from an orphanage on the Lower East Side to a mansion on Fifth Avenue.

The cast includes Lorelei Miller as Annie (Cast A), Eloise McComas as Annie (Cast B), Victor Velez as Oliver Warbucks, Lauren Paige Bristow as Grace Farrell, Warren Fuhrman as Miss Hannigan, Matt Josbena as Rooster Hannigan, Sara Helmers as Lily St. Regis, Poppy Tulig as Wacky (Cast A), Emilia Parker as Wacky (Cast B) and Amber Kalkiewicz as Sandy.

Members of the adult ensemble include Daniel Isajiw, Doug Shimell, Danny Murphy, Drew Kalkiewicz, Michael Meck, Donna Dougherty, Ashley Zammetti, Heather Kalkiewicz and Karly Thomas.

The orphan ensemble includes Addison Kunsch, Chloe Kunsch, Abby Leiboff, Emily Leiboff, Elena Christides, Phoenix Azure, Madelyn Ahlmer, Maeve Sasse, Kaylee Siggelkow and Emma Rich. Cast A orphans are Sophia Patriarch as Molly, Madeline Dixon as Pepper, Frances Rose Foy as Duffy, Cecily Vu as July, Sophia Sims as Kate and Kaitlin Wilkin as Tessie. Cast B orphans are Nella Hilden as Molly, Makena Kelsey as Pepper, Emily Starke as Duffy, Avery Ahlmer as July, Sophie Rivell as Kate and Aliyeh Ashlie as Tessie.

Members of the production crew are Lauren McComas, director, producer and casting director; Mike Toolan, music director and principal conductor; Emily Merow, assistant music director and associate conductor; Zach Reynolds, choreographer; Zane Zangwill, assistant director; Kathy DeVries, costume designer; Robbie Merow, set, lighting and sound designer; Laurey Zoladz, props master; Chelsea Barnett, stage manager, Stephen Fisher, assistant stage manager; David Craig, master carpenter; Mike McComas, master carpenter; Judy Elliott, marketing director/house manager; Michael Styer, photographer; Ronnie Hernandez, assistant to the director; and Judi Kalkiewicz , assistant to Sandy.

Members of the pit orchestra are Nicholas Burbo, piano; James Devot, bass; Jen Devitis, percussion; Bob Carpency, woodwinds; Jez Godin, trombone; and Charity Harter, tuba/euphonium.

Seating will be at a reduced capacity. Ticket sales are final. Handicapped-accessible seats are available. Audience and staff members will be required to wear face masks at all times before, during and after the show. The performers will wear transparent face shields while on stage.
