The Arts at Millersville "We The People" First Friday series will feature a performance collective from Speak to My Soul and A Concrete Rose. Live From the Red Rose, an evening of live art, music, and poetic performance, will take place on Friday, June 4, at 6:30 p.m. at the Ware Center, 42 N. Prince St., Lancaster.
The organizers will also be raising funds for their newest venture, A Concrete Rose, a bookstore, micro-winery, and performance venue opening in southeast Lancaster.
Admission to the event is free, but tickets are required, as seating is limited. COVID protocols will also be in place. A livestream link is available for those who cannot attend in person.
In the Regitz Gallery, the Lancaster Summer Arts Festival will kick off the 2021 season on June 4 with its annual photography exhibition, "Expanded Visions," which will open to the public on June 4 from 6 to 8 p.m. It will be on view through the end of July from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Mondays through Fridays.
