The York Branch AAUW (American Association of University Women) will meet on Tuesday, March 12, at the York Alliance Church, 501 Rathton Road, York. The meeting will begin with refreshments at 6:30 p.m., followed by the program at 7 p.m.
Barbara Raid, a retired architectural historian, will narrate a slideshow presentation about some of downtown York's 18th-, 19th- and early 20th-century buildings. Attendees will learn how the town grew from its beginning in 1741 to the Victorian Era.
