Academic Excellence Awards Announced

Conestoga Valley (CV) School District recently announced its academic excellence awards. Students were recognized in a variety of categories.

Awards and recipients are as follows: Brownstown PTO: Jacquelyn McBride and Paul Newhart; J.E. Fritz PTO: Alden Salmons and Sophia Steed; Leola PTO: Alexandra Mcevoy and Owen Rappa; Smoketown PTO: Delaney Carbo and Anthony Le; and the Gerald G. Huesken Middle School Award: Savannah Byers and Joshua Rushlow.

Memorial scholarship awards include Jennifer Shetter Memorial Scholarship "Smile For Me": Kaitlin Holmes; Brandon T. Styer Technical Scholarship: Joshua Canfield; Jeffrey T. Several military recognitions were awarded: United States Marine Corps Scholastic Excellence Award: Gabriella Barone Graybill, and Jordan Beiler; United States Marine Corps Semper Fidelis Award: Elizabeth Movinsky and Gregory Phillips; United States Marine Corps Distinguished Athlete Award: Jordyn Hock, Jacquelyn McBride, and Jayden Taitano; and Upper Leacock Township War Memorial Association Award: Grace Braught, Lindsey Mousch, John "Will" Nissley, and April Peles.
