The Conflict, Communication and Culture training will be held on Thursdays, Feb. 17 to March 3, from 9 a.m. to noon. The training will offer an introduction to Advoz's work, principals, and skills. This session is required for other Advoz trainings. Registration is required by Thursday, Feb. 3.
The Restorative Justice Conferencing facilitator training will be held from 9 a.m. to noon on Tuesdays and Thursdays, March 8 to 24. A session will also be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 26. Participants will learn to facilitate restorative dialogue, a process of accountability and healing for those involved in violations and crime. In addition to learning the conferencing process and practicing it through role plays, trainees will learn about the justice system, victims' rights and needs, ethics, and communication skills. Registration is required by Tuesday, Feb. 22.
