Terre Hill will host its annual Easter egg hunts on Saturday, April 16, at Terre Hill Park, 210 Lancaster Ave. More details are available at http://www.terrehilldays.com.
A free Easter egg hunt for children age 10 and younger will begin at 1 p.m. at Pavilion 1. The thousands of eggs will be filled with candy and money, and some special prize eggs will be available. There will not be set start times for each age group this year; instead, the hunts will be held in succession, with a short break between each one. Families should arrive at the park by 1 p.m. for instructions.
The event will feature free special activities, including a visit by the Easter Bunny at noon, face painting at 12:30 p.m., and the Dkers Juggling Show at 2 p.m. Other furry friends are scheduled to visit, as well.
The Flashlight Egg Hunt, a fundraiser for Terre Hill Park, will begin at 8 p.m. and will be open to individuals age 11 and older. Participants will look for thousands of glowing eggs all throughout the Terre Hill Park and will have the chance to win prizes of cash, electronics, gift cards, gift baskets, and more. Tickets will be discounted when purchased in advance and full price on the day of the event. Registration will begin at 7 p.m.
