Columbia High School's May Day celebration will be held on Saturday, May 4, at 7 p.m. in the gymnasium of the school, 901 Ironville Pike, Columbia. The May Day event is an annual spring festivity that includes entertainment, the May Day court and crowning, and a celebration. This year will mark the the 74th celebration of May Day.
The May Day committee extends an invitation to the community to attend and support the celebration. There is a fee to attend, with separate fees set for adults and for students and seniors.
May Day is being led by junior Chante Gilbert, sophomore Anonya Bland, and the May Day committee.
