The Lyric Band of Hanover, Hanover's Wind Symphony, will present its annual spring concert in the Emory Markle Intermediate School auditorium, 225 Bowman Road, Hanover, at 3 p.m. on Sunday, April 7. As with all Lyric Concerts, there is no admission charge. Freewill donations will be accepted following the concert.
The program is titled "American Portraits" and will feature music that highlights the varied landscapes and composers of America. Selections to be performed include "Sedona" by Steven Reineke, "Southwest Summer" by Robert W. Smith, "Fanfare for the Common Man" by Aaron Copland, and more. This concert will be the final performance of the 2018-19 concert series presented by the Lyric Band of Hanover.
