The Lancaster County Well Workplace Award seeks to recognize companies in Lancaster County that have taken steps toward creating a culture of health in their workplace. The Lighten Up Lancaster County Coalition, in partnership with the Central Penn Business Group on Health and LiveWELL, annually honors Lancaster County companies that have adopted initiatives and policies to keep their employees in the best possible health.
Well Workplace Award winners are evaluated using the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's Worksite Health Scorecard, which assesses efforts in 12 different areas of wellness. The awards are divided into categories by score (bronze, silver, gold, and platinum) and by size (greater than or fewer than 250 employees).
Submissions for 2019 are being accepted, and more information can be found at http://www.lightenuplancaster.org/Workplaces. All applications must be submitted by Monday, April 15.
