The Art in the Parks program, presented by Creative York, will offer five weeks of free art activities in York city parks this summer. Registration is not required. Children ages 3 to 12 are invited to just show up and create.
Arts in the Parks will be held weekdays from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. The program will be offered the week of June 24 at Allen Park, Tremont and Hay streets; the week of Monday, July 8, at Campus Park, North Duke Street and East College Avenue; the week of Monday, July 15, at Jim Gross Park (formerly Lincoln Park); the week of Monday, July 22, at Penn Park, 100 W. College Ave.; and the week of Monday, July 29, at Farquhar Park, 570 N. Newberry St.
