A group of 24 teenagers and adults form Rohlers Assembly of God, 761 Rohlers Church Road, Dover, will travel to Nassau, Bahamas, this July on a mission trip. They will work with children through a daily vacation Bible school and with teenagers at nightly rallies through dramatizations, comical skits, and puppetry. They will also be doing construction work on a new church.
Each teenager and adult going on the trip will have to raise money to fund it. A benefit auction will take place at the church on Friday, May 17, starting at 6 p.m. and Saturday, May 18, starting at 8 a.m. All proceeds from the auction will go toward the costs of the trip and construction supplies. Various items, trips and tickets will be auctioned, and the church's Women's Auxiliary will sell homemade soups, pizza, hamburgers, sausage and barbecue sandwiches, hot dogs, homemade pastries and pies, and other refreshments. For more information or directions to the church, readers may call the church at 717-292-1292.
