On Sundays, March 17 and 24, field trips will be held to find timberdoodles at Swatara State Park and Memorial Lake State Park, respectively. Participants will meet at 6:45 p.m. at Trout Run Trailhead parking lot on March 17 and the upper parking lot on March 24. Participants should bring a flashlight. A field trip to Middle Creek Wildlife Management Area for the observation of migrating waterfowl and resident birds will be offered on Saturday, March 23. Participants will meet at 9 a.m. at the visitor center parking lot. The leader will be Fritz Heilman, who may be contacted at 717-273-0487.
Steve Saffier will present a program titled "Birdtown and Backyard Habitat" on Wednesday, March 27. The program will begin at 7 p.m. in the chapel at Lebanon Valley Home, 550 E. Main St., Annville.
