The Quittapahilla Audubon Society (QAS) has planned two field trips, which are open to the public.
Participants will go to State Game Land 145 for the observation of local birds on Sunday, Nov. 7. They should meet at 9 a.m. at the Lebanon Valley Rail Trail's Colebrook trailhead parking lot. The leader, Jim Fiorentino, can be contacted at 717-269-0675.
On Sunday, Nov. 14, a group will go to the Lebanon Valley Rail Trail for the observation of late season flora and fauna. Attendees should meet at 2:30 p.m. at the Jonestown trailhead. For more details, contact leader Fritz Heilman at 717-273-0487.
