On Sunday, Nov. 17, a field trip will be offered along the Lebanon Valley Rail Trail (LVRT) at the Lebanon Valley Expo Center for the observation of local birds. "Wild Edible Plants" will be presented by Debbie Naha-Koretzky on Wednesday, Nov. 20, at 7 p.m. in the chapel of the Lebanon Valley Home, 550 E. Main St., Annville. The program will open participants' eyes to the world of wild edibles, from dandelions to acorns. This program will cover plant identification, safe and sustainable harvesting, and incorporating wild plants into culinary dishes. Naha-Koretzky is a licensed dietitian nutritionist, a certified Rutgers master gardener, and a Pennsylvania master naturalist.
