The Spirit of YoCo Awards Breakfast will take place on Wednesday, Sept. 30, from 7 to 9 a.m. at a location to be determined. Details will be announced in August.
The event will honor volunteers, elected and appointed officials, and local organizations and individuals who leverage the collaboration, expertise and resources needed to create sustainable prosperity in York County.
The following categories will be recognized: Appointed Official of the Year, Elected Official of the Year, Community Service, Education/Workforce Development Advocate of the Year, Volunteer of the Year, Nonprofit or Government Employee of the Year, Nonprofit Community Impact, and Diversity Impact.
Nominations for the Spirit of YoCo Awards are now open. Nominations will be accepted through Monday, Aug. 3.
